Trauma can be caused at both physical and psychological level and the effects can be both long-term and short term. There are many immediate outcomes which are generally as confused state of mind, unable to associate, sudden panic attacks, anger or sleep deprivation. The stress that is built up by continuous trauma actually makes the life of the victim as well as the family difficult. Children face many physical problems like body aches and irritation. They also become scared and afraid and that fear becomes deep rooted. A social anxiety develops which is very difficult to control. In adults the effects are more prominent and they are fatal at times.
